Catharina Maria Hof is gevestigd in de Onrustpolder, een polder grenzend aan het Veerse Meer en de Noordzee, te midden van uitgestrekte akkers en omgeven door vakantieparken. Met de tentoonstelling: (on)rust in de polder, onderzoeken zij de thema’s die spelen rondom de boerderij. Terugkerende onderwerpen van gesprek zijn de rol van landbouw, toerisme, infrastructuur en natuur binnen Zeeland. De boerderij vormt met haar rust en ruimte het idyllische oog van een onzichtbare, maar aanwezige storm.
Gedurende een half jaar (eerste helft van 2025) heeft Femke Gerestein herhaaldelijk een performance uitgevoerd op Noord-Beveland. In deze eerste serie (onrust) beweegt ze zich in het landschap en legt dit vast met een minidrone. De drone zoomt uit tot haar lichaam bijna verdwijnt en de omgeving het beeld overneemt. Door over het land te rollen en deze beweging talloze keren te herhalen, doet ze een wanhopige poging om het zich toe te eigenen. Ze laat er haar sporen in achter, niet altijd zichtbaar en altijd tijdelijk. Omgekeerd laat het landschap altijd sporen op haar achter. Dit project is een vervolg op een serie die Gerestein uitvoerde op Walcheren. 
In een tweede serie (rust) die ze in hetzelfde half jaar als de eerste serie maakte, zweeft Gerestein boven het oppervlak. Een derde serie bestaat uit fotografische registraties van tijdelijke tekeningen in haar huid die tijdens de eerste serie zijn ontstaan. 
Dit werk is gemaakt in opdracht van Catharina Maria Hof en is daarnaast mede mogelijk gemaakt door de Zeeuwse Kunstenaarsregeling van de Provincie Zeeland.

Catharina Maria Hof is located in the Onrustpolder, a polder bordering the Veerse Meer and the North Sea, amidst vast fields and surrounded by holiday parks. With the exhibition: (on)rust in de polder (literal translation: (un)rest in the polder), they explore the themes at play around the farm. Recurring topics of conversation are the role of agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, and nature within Zeeland. With its tranquility and spaciousness, the farm forms the idyllic eye of an invisible yet present storm. 
For six months (the first half of 2025), Femke Gerestein has repeatedly performed a performance on Noord-Beveland. In this first series (unrest), she moves through the landscape and captures it with a mini-drone. The drone zooms out until her body almost disappears and the surroundings take over the image. By rolling across the land and repeating this movement countless times, she makes a desperate attempt to appropriate it. She leaves her traces behind, not always visible and always temporary. Conversely, the landscape always leaves traces on her. This project is a continuation of a series that Gerestein executed on Walcheren. 
In a second series (rest), which she created in the same six months as the first series, Gerestein floats above the surface. A third series consists of photographic registrations of temporary drawings in her skin that emerged during the first series.
